Wild Rift Showdown

Twitch Rivals will run a 1-day Wild Rift event with a focus on the casual-competitive creators who love LoL and Wild Rift. We’ll pick 4 captains of fairly equal skill level who represent the cheeky, fun-first attitude of Wild Rift and allow them to choose their own teammates to ensure everyone has a good time playing with their friends.

The event will feature a round robin stage in which each team will play against each other team in their group. We will include either 1 or 2 groups of 4, depending on overall creator interest, as we are operating on a fairly tight timeline for this event, and at the end of the round robin stage all players will be seeded into a “playoff” against another team with a similar record.

The playoffs will not be a bracket but will rather be a single best-of-3 match against one other team. For example the top 2 teams will be playing for 1st/2nd place, the next two teams will be playing for 3rd/4th place, etc.

The /TwitchRivals channel is home to our anchored studio show and serves as a spotlight for participating Partner and Affiliate streamers as they face off in streamer vs streamer live competitions. You can also tune into the channels of anyone participating in an event to see their unique view of the action along with their community.
